Sergeant Conrad Farnhof was a founding member of the
Alamo Area Crime Prevention Association. Officer Farnhof was originally from
California, Officer Farnhof settled in Fredericksburg, Texas after a four-year stint
in the United States Air Force. After separating from the military,
he began his career with the Fredericksburg Police Department.
Rising to the rank of Sergeant, he served the citizens of
Fredericksburg and Gillespie County for more than 40 years as a
Crime Prevention Specialist Sergeant with the Fredericksburg Police Department.
And later, upon
retiring he joined the Gillespie County Sheriff's Office as a Crime Prevention Deputy Sheriff. Prior to his passing, Conrad was awarded a plaque from the
AACPA for his dedicated service to Crime Prevention and his
community. He is survived by his wife, Carleen Farnhof.
